        <p>So begins week 1 of my training for the Rock n Roll Half marathon in October. I&#39;m planning on training Tuesday, Thursday and Sat or Sunday, depending on how my weekend schedule goes. So stay tuned for updates on my progress. I will have a bit of a lull the third week of July since I will be getting my wisdom teeth pulled but hopefully that only sets me back about a week or so.</p><p>This weekend was all bad for eating! But what&#39;s new. Saturday morning I went jogging with Shelly and made a pit stop at Starbucks. I ate a scone with my coffee=( But hey! At least I got out and did SOMETHING.</p><p>Today at CrossFit, I wasn&#39;t able to do the prescribed workout because my shoulder is still sore from Wednesday&#39;s push jerks BLEH. So I just did 400m runs, back extensions and pull ups.</p><p>OK time to start work.<br /> </p>   <p style="clear:both;">

        <p>Golly gee willickers!! I&#39;m freaking SORE from yesterday!!! AHHH My shoulders, traps, triceps and NECK feel so stiff! AHH </p><p>We ended up going to Krung Thai last night MMM sooo good!! I managed to control myself somewhat but I still left pretty full!</p><p>I put together a training plan for myself for the half in October. It doesn&#39;t seem entirely bad, its only running 3 days a week with speedwork, tempo runs and a long run. Hopefully I can stick to it as much as possible so I can finish STRONG!! I&#39;d like to finish the half in about 2 hours or so so we&#39;ll SEE.<br /> </p>   <p style="clear:both;">

        <p>I weighed myself this morning and those two nasty pounds are gone!! I guess I just had to &#39;let it go&#39; LOL! Anywho..... I ran on the treadmill last night like at 1030pm because I was feeling fats. I only did 3 miles - it was so stuffy in the garage!! I couldn&#39;t breathe! I guess that counteracts the Popeyes Chicken &amp; Biscuits I had for dinner LOL!</p><p>Today Judd gave me a date to weigh in and check my body fat. IM NERVOUS! I really haven&#39;t lost any weight since like... APRIL! LOL!! So I guess I need things in the bud for a bit for the weigh in *sigh*</p><p>We started with a 500m row today and did our stretches. The workout was 5 rounds of 9 push jerks and 9 box jumps. I finally did the prescribed weight for women of 85lbs!! AHHH I had to break up the each set of 9 but I&#39;m glad I finally pushed myself with the weight. I know I&#39;m going to feel it later on!!</p><p>600am Fiber One cereal with blueberries and nonfat milk</p><p>900am 1 egg white</p><p>1000am i graham cracker with peanut butter</p><p>1130am went to VF to exchange my sunglasses at LensCrafters so I OF COURSE went to California Crisp and got my favorite asian chicken salad! Mmmm sooo GOOD!</p><p>I think we&#39;re going out to dinner tonight with Pepe&#39;s family... I vote for Krung Thai! HOLLA BACK!</p><p><br /> </p>   <p style="clear:both;">

        <p>Ugh! I&#39;m FAT! I gained two lbs over the weekend=( I had the balls to weigh myself this morning thinking it wouldn&#39;t be that bad... *sigh* oh well!! I&#39;m totally sore from yesterday&#39;s workout. That was my first cardio based workout at CrossFit since I&#39;ve been sick. My chest and my arms are totally sore from the push ups!         <p>What a week! So since I last posted, I did Muddy Buddy with Steph, got REALLY sick, then did the Mermaid Duathlon with Steph this past weekend!! After Muddy Buddy last Sunday I was a mess! I literally could not get out of bed and was drugged up with just about everything - amoxicillan, vicodine, allergy medicine, cold medicine and bcps! LOL wow I had to stay home Monday and Tuesday from work and ended up coming in like a dumbass Wednesday to just sit and stare at the computer!! </p><p>Thursday I was feeling somewhat better and made it to CrossFit Friday morning. We did CrossFit totals for shoulder press, back squat and deadlift. I set a new PR for shoulder press at 75lbs!! I&#39;m right behind Michaela at 80lbs which is kinda scary but YA!!!! The back squat was difficult cause they want you to go so low that your ass is below your knees. I maxed at 125lbs. I couldn&#39;t even do the deadlift so we used my past max at 165lbs. </p><p>Saturday was the Mermaid Duathlon...... I felt so ill prepared since I didn&#39;t even do any kinda cardio since Muddy Buddy!! I didn&#39;t finish in my project 90 minutes, but whatevs! I FINISHED!! I didn&#39;t bitch out and walk either so I&#39;m satisfied. </p><p>My weekend consisted of nonstop pigging out for Father&#39;s Day. On Saturday we went to Claim Jumper with Jaye and Junior for Pepe and got appetizers, our meals AND dessert mmmm! Sunday morning we went to Mayflower for dim sum and to Armadillo Willy&#39;s for dinner. I ate all my ribs and the other half of my mom&#39;s! HAHAHAHAHA What can I say?! I LOVE RIBS!!</p><p>So here I am, supposedly starting a new day (again)....</p><p>CrossFit WOD:<br />50 inverted sit ups<br />50 double under jump ropes<br />50 walking lunges with dumbell<br />50 inverted situps<br />50 burpees<br />50 inverted sit ups</p><p>I finished in 25 minutes. The double unders are HARD and I wanted to cry during burpees. </p><p>600am 1 cup of Fiber One cereal with nonfat milk and blueberries</p><p>930am 1 egg white</p><p>1030am 2 graham crackers with peanut butter</p><p>100pm soon doo boo, no rice! and all the lil yummy korean dishes.</p><p>That&#39;s it for now as I sip on my diet pepsi.... mmmm<br /> </p>   <p style="clear:both;">

        <p>OKAAAAAAAAY. &#160;So my crackhead idea didn&#39;t work out as I had planned. &#160;HA!<div><br /></div><div>This IS DEFINITELY an excuse but it&#39;s also the TRUTH. &#160;I worked for about 3 weeks STRAIGHT, ate like a pig and COMPLETELY ignored my workout plan. &#160;As a result, I feel like shit and have gained 5 wonderful lbs back! &#160;Yes, my first public failure! &#160;It sucks, but I&#39;m still MOVIN ON!</div><div><br /></div><div>In the past month, I&#39;ve come to realize how UNBALANCED my life has become! &#160;I give more of my time and energy to WORK than my own health! &#160;I don&#39;t like that! Therefore, I am changing my goal to - BALANCING my life to create a healthier ME. &#160;<div><div><br /></div><div>That said...I&#39;ve committed to a more simple and realistic plan (sorry Dr. Phil!):</div><div><ul><li>Walking at least 30 minutes every morning with Bosko and Jay (they both promised =P)</li><li>Volleyball on Tuesdays</li><li>Cardio Kickboxing on Thursdays</li><li>Biking on Saturdays</li><li>NO skipping meals</li><li>NO more seconds</li></ul><div>SIMPLE AS THAT...</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks, guys, for your continued support and believing in me! &#160;I&#39;ll update as often as I can.</div></div><div><br /></div></div></div></p>   <p style="clear:both;">

        <p>Hmmm can&#39;t get on AIM so I guess I&#39;ll post.... Yesterday at CrossFit we did an interesting workout... each round had alternating inverted situps and squat cleans with the bar. I did max 65lbs.</p><p>10 squat cleans<br />50 sit ups<br />8 squat cleans<br />40 sit ups<br />6 squat cleans<br />30 sit ups<br />4 squat cleans<br />20 sit ups<br />2 squat cleans<br />10 sit ups</p><p>We did our three rounds of warm up exercises as usual too with the initial 400m run. My treadmill is finally back in business!! Still in the garage but its better than nothing!! I did 3 miles of interval training ranging from 5.7-6.5. I really need to work on my speed!!<br /> </p>   <p style="clear:both;">

<p><br /> <div>My appetite has been BLEH today because of my drinking monster actions last night... *SIGH* I couldn&#39;t eat breakfast this morning because just drinking water alone made my stomach feel queezy!!<br /><br />930am 2 graham crackers<br /><br />1130am met sean for pho. i ate mostly the meat and 1 spring roll.<br /><br />My allergies are extra horrible today!         <p>I don&#39;t want to name all the bad things I ate this weekend but a few highlights are: In n Out, enchiladas, pizza and pasta, and ICE CREAM. *sigh* Happy Vacation to ME. I refuse to weigh myself for a whole week. Seriously, its time to hop back on my good eating habits!! </p><p>600am 1 cup of Fiber One cereal with blueberries and nonfat milk</p><p>930am 1 rice cake with peanut butter</p><p>1:15pm late lunch cause of my eye appt. had chinese chicken salad and 1 slice of wheat bread.<br /> </p>   <p style="clear:both;">
