OK REALLY. I need to drop a few more pounds and get serioso about my diet! lol We have Muddy Buddy coming up and our 10 year high school reunion so I have to be HOTT! lol It was a fabulous weekend for exercise, not so much for the diet as usual! I went walking/jogging with Shelly Saturday morning and trained for MB with Steph on Sunday. I do NOT enjoy running uphill on the trails at all. Biking - no problem. Running - not so much. lol BLEH!

I maxed out at 165lbs. I'm kind of disappointed cause its only 20lbs more than I last time, but oh well. I guess I need to do more leg work.

Yikes, voxing is harder than I thought. Just a quick update as I wait for my clothes to dry. I've totally gone off my crackhead working plan...it was really harder than it sounded..hahah BUT..no worries..I am still exercising. I average 4-5 days/week of working out. For cardio I either walk about 3-4 miles or bike about 6-8 miles. I play volleyball every Tuesday nights and Jay, Sheila, my dad & I also joined a bowling league on Sundays. I also walk for 1/2 an hour during lunch every Tuesday & Thursday with a co-worker. At this point, I figure ANYTHING is better than sitting on my BE-hind. Can't forget bike to work day this Thursday!
PS - I've lost 5 lbs! YIPPEEE!
So my dieting has skewed a bit the past few days.... and I say, OH WELL! At least I was still exercising! LOL
We did the Human Race of Silicon Valley this past Saturday morning and its was GREAT!! I wanted to try to make it under 60 minutes but that didn't happen! After the 4th mile I just told myself I wanted to finish running the entire thing and I DID! WOO HOO! I seriously felt like crying when I saw the mile 6 sign - not cause I was fatigued and wanted to die, but cause I was so proud of myself!! So for the last 0.2 of the race I booked it as fast as I could and was stoked to see all the homies at the finish line waiting to cheer me on!! AHHHHH It was an indescribable feeling I swear!!
I'm kinda glad I dropped the whole PR under an hour thing during the race, I need to do more speed work with longer runs before I'd actually feel ready to push myself harder for another 10K. It was gratifying enough to pass people along the way who were ahead of me, or to see people start dropping off and walking after 2 miles, 3 miles, 4 miles and just trucking along thinking 'I FEEL GOOD!'. Can't wait till Jungle Run in July!
Today at CrossFit, we warmed up like normal.... 400m run, squats, lunges, sit ups, etc and then our WOD was 'Christine'. 3 rounds of 500m row, 12 deadlifts (95 lbs) and 21 box jumps. I just about died on the row! I hate doing those!! Afterwards we stretched then did a set of reverse incline situps, 2 sets of 15 inclined pull ups, 2 sets of tricep bench dips and 2 sets of 8 push ups. RAWRR thats how my arms feel LOL
