7:00 - woke up to do 8 SELF strengthening exercises. afterwards, jan and i went to alum rock park to train for muddy buddy. we did some cross training exercises: ran up a hill, 20 jmping jacks, 10 squats, and 10 push ups. 5 sets of those and we were huffin' and puffin'. then we finally biked up a trail for another 45 minutes. WOO HOO!!
11:00 - munched on some jackfruit
12:30 - went to askew grill. i had a bbq salmon stick. i munched on tran's mash potatos, and had half of my grilled corn. this place is good, just kinda pricey.
4:00 - munched on tamarind again
7:00 - went to tran's parents house and had spring rolls there. i had 5-6 small spring rolls w/o any rice noodles.
7:00 - went to golds and ran a 5k, and then elliptical for 20 minutes. afterwards, i met my sister and mom at a day spa in palo alto. aaah, the massage felt so good. especially since my muscles are soo tight from all this activity.
11:00 - had dim sum with the family at mayflower. the bad thing that i ate was all the buns. i totally pigged out on them..YUMMY!
3:00 - munchin' on tamarind and watermelon
7:30 - picked up april and went to La Bodeguita in Palo Alto. i had an empanada for appetizer, half of my skirt steak and shrimp, and shared a flan with april. i also had a mojito. this place is pretty good, and i wouldn't mind coming back!!!
i got really lazy this morning. i woke up at 430, and it was super hot still. i decided not to go to the gym today. i guess i won't be doing cardio, but maybe i'll do some strengthening exercises tonight. BIG MAYBE.
7:00 - bad breakfast....but it's friday!!!! i drank half of my tall skinny caramel machiatto. i also bought another strawberries n cream(reduced fat, heeeheheh) coffeecake. it's so yummy. i ate half already. trying to save or throw away the other half.
12:00 - had a 6" inch turkey sub, and a jamba light.
6:30 - went to sushi o sushi and had a summer breeze roll and a california roll. i was soooooooo bloated and it's probably because of the rice.
got a long day ahead of me!!!
7:00 - an egg white and i got a tall skinny vanilla latte
10:00 - a small cup of cereal with nonfat milk
11:30 - did a cardio exercise
12:30 - tj's shrimp louie salad
2:15 - watermelon, strawberries, and mangoes
4:30 - worked on triceps then went to yoga
7:30 - steak salad with sweet potato fries. had tamarind and watermelon for dessert
5:00 - I MADE IT TO GOLDS! did a 45 minutes cardio routine. 15 minutes on the stairmaster, 15 minutes running, and 15 minutes on elliptical.
7:00 - went to starbucks cause i need coffee. so i got a iced tall skinny vanilla latte. i only drank half. the bad part was i was tempted with a coffeecake. they had a reduced fat strawberry coffeecake. i've eaten half, so i think i'll throw the rest away. it was YUMMY!!
11:30 - went to lunch with jahnny!! i had a big plate of salad with fat free italian dressing and a small cup of soup. WOW, i didn't even go to the bread station. **sigh**
2:30 - big bowl of fruit
6:00 - fruit lather
7:00 - i made turkey slides. i had one slider on hawaiian bread, and then one small turkey pattie with salad.
BOY, i feel asleep around 8PM!! I was suppose to do my strengthening exercises.
7:00 - an egg white, and i bought a grande skinny vanilla latte with extra foam.
so i only drank half of my vanilla latte
10:00 - a cup of cereal with nonfat milk. didn't drink the milk
11:10 - went on the elliptical for 30 minutes. then worked on back for another 20 minutes.
12:45 - munchin' on fruit. got a meeting at 1, so i'll each my sammich later.
3:40 - wow my meeting ran super long. finally ate my 6" sub, and it didn't taste so good. probably because i didn't eat it right away.
4:45 - walked for 20 minutes, then went to hot yoga
8:00 - had a salad with tomatoes, strawberries, and dried cranberries. a 4oz steak with some ketchup. had a vietnamese dessert, and some tamarind.
it was nonstop this weekend, and by the time i got home from my mom's house, i was pooped! i slept at 730 last night!!! woke around 4:45 and got myself out of bed to go to the gym. but as i was brushing my teeth, my body was still TIRED and i was on my rag...so i decided not to go to golds. LOL, i know i know...it's bad, and the people there are probably wondering where i've been. this has been the longest hiatus that I've had with gold's. oh well, gotta workout harder at lunch and TONIGHT!
6:30 - 2 egg whites, and about to go get a chai tea with soy milk
10:05 - a cup of cereal with nonfat milk
11:30 - starting off month #2 of SELF cardio exercises. The first cardio exercises is 30 minutes doing intervals. My choice this time was 5 minute warm-up at 4mph. Then 6 intervals: 2 minutes at 8mph and 1 minute recovery at 6mph. it was freakin' hard. on my 5th interval i rested by switching it up(1 minute at 8mph and 2 minutes at 6mph). i finished the last interval strong though. it was torture! for the last 7 minutes, i cooled down at 4mph. afterwards, i worked on biceps for a good 30 minutes. definitely a good workout!!!
1:20 - veggie chili with some pretzels
2:35 - mangos and watermelon
3:10 - munchin on some almonds and pretzels at our 3' oclock meeting.
7:00 - 4oz piece of salmon with some green beans.

8:30 - aaaah, i ran the 10K!!! WOO HOO!! i barely finished under an hour. 59:33 was the time..i think. it was a very hard run, especially the 3rd and 4th mile. i'll be better prepared next time. WOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO
11:30 - we headed to kim tar, and i just shared some egg noodles with tran.
2:00 - munchin' on some tarmarind and watermelon
6:00 - took tran's parents and my parents out to eat for their birthdays and mother day. we ate at gochi. it was greeeeeeat.
10:30 - had some starbucks and m&ms at the alicia keys concert. lol.
